Sales consultants Carol Sokol and Lesley Langton have become firm friends outside the office as well as inside it, and such is their successful partnership they’ve become known as the ‘dream team’.
The pair were working together at The Brook at Taylor’s Chase, Warrington – which won Development of the Year – and, after that sold out, moved to Tabley Green in Fulwood, near Preston.
And they’ve continued their winning ways, securing 11 reservations within three months of arriving there. “It’s an excellent start, and we’re delighted,”says Lesley.
Lesley and Carol have cited great homes and a fantastic location as reasons behind a successful start, although much is also down to the hardworking and trustworthy sales duo who customers have constantly praised.
Carol, 60, a mother-of-one, from Warrington, trained as a legal secretary before joining us 27 years ago and since then she has worked on numerous developments across the Lancashire region.
Lesley, 55, has worked here for five years after 31 years as a sales co-ordinator.
With Lesley’s calm persona and Carol’s tenacious nature, the two say they balance each other perfectly, and there are similarities which ensure they complement each other too. “We have the same work ethic,”says Carol,“and we both give everything that we’ve got to the job.”
Gavin Powell, sales manager for Lancashire, says:“There are many reasons why we have kept Carol and Lesley together – who wouldn’t, they make a great team!
“They support each other but, more than that, they support the customers. They offer a friendliness that makes the journey exciting and enjoyable for homebuyers, along with a confidence and expertise that they can rely on.”
Why should people buy at Tabley Green?
Carol:“It’s a lovely development. The street scenes, the mix of homes, and the landscaping, they all have great appeal, and it’s beautiful to look at.”
Lesley:“There’s a real feeling of space, and you’ve got greenery and the pond which we make a real feature of. It’s an attractive development in a semi-rural setting.”
Why is the area surrounding Tabley Green a great one to live in, or move to?
Carol:“The proximity to the motorway is good, so it’s ideal for commuters or people with busy lives who want to get away to Blackpool or the Lake District, for example. Location is always key, and it’s close to the city of Preston too, while being semi-rural.”
Lesley:“You’re also close to the train station, you’re on a decent bus route and you’re near to schools, the hospital and the city centre if you want to go out. It’s got a lot of things to commend it.”
Why is Tabley Green different and better than any other new build developments in the area?
Lesley:“Although there are other developments in the area, we are off the main road and set back, so you feel like you’re in the country. Again, our street scenes are varied and more attractive, with different house styles next to each other where others look the same; and homes like the Oxford, Welwyn, Cambridge and Shrewsbury each offering distinctive roofs, tile hangings and brick courses.”
Carol: “It makes it feel more individual and you get a lovely flow as you move through the development. There’s a real kerb appeal and you get the sense of a premium homes collection.”
What sets Redrow apart from others?
Carol:“The homes are of the highest standard and the Heritage Collection has that architectural craftsmanship. Redrow’s homes have higher ceilings and deep skirting boards, and a high specification of fixtures and fittings: there are tiles from Porcelanosa, kitchens from Moores or Symphony, and top brand appliances like AEG or, should people upgrade, Siemens. They’re all top of the range.”
Lesley:“There’s attention to detail throughout a Redrow home and, of course, with the My Redrow members’ only area of our website, customers can choose extras and upgrades to create a home that’s bespoke to them. They can upgrade, they can add wardrobes that can be fitted before they move in. If they need space to work from home, as many people do now, they can even choose office furniture from My Redrow. People want to combine work and home life.”
Why is now a good time to buy at Tabley Green?
Carol:“We are coming to the end of this current phase before moving on to larger homes. There are seven homes currently available and so if you want a smaller, but still spacious, three or four-bedroom detached home, now is the time to seize the opportunity while you can.”
Tabley Green currently has three and four-bedroom detached homes available starting at £259,995 for a Warwick to £454,995 for a Henley.
