Charlie Guest, who specialises in slalom, put families through their paces when she hosted a winter sports themed workout session.
Charlie has been skiing since she was three years old and, in 2019, was the first British female to win an Alpine European Cup, despite a near career ending accident five years earlier which saw her fracture her spine.
She was invited to bring her own brand of alpine enthusiasm to the opening of a new Canterbury show home at the Oakwood Fields development, as part of our partnership with GB Snowsport.
The new show home was designed by our interiors team, led by Alysha Ali, who took inspiration from Charlie, who grew up in a ski obsessed family, which also includes her sister Katie, a para-alpine skier.
The four-bedroom Canterbury show home includes vintage wooden skis, GB vests and even pictures of Charlie and her family.
“We were thrilled to have Charlie visit us here in Lowton, we tried our best to make her feel at home with icicles, snowy alpine trees and ice cream,” said Amy Bates, area sales manager for Lancashire.
“Charlie loved the show home and got quite emotional when she saw how much detail had gone into putting her story into the rooms.”
