With the chance to save thousands off the initial price of a brand new home in Bingham, would-be home owners are being urged to make 2013 the year they step onto the property ladder.
FirstBuy is now available on new homes at Redrow’s Mill Hill development in Mallow Way. The Government-backed incentive offers first time buyers the chance to reduce the cost of setting up home with the help of an equity loan.
Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), said: “The New Year is all about fresh starts and what better to way to start 2013 than with a plan to move home? Mill Hill really does have something for almost every buyer and budget – from first time buyers to growing families, downsizers and everything in between. Plus to match the good choice of homes available we also have a range of incentives designed to make moving as simple and straight forward as possible. For example, with FirstBuy now available, buyers could find that owning a home of their own is more affordable than they realised.”
Current prices at Mill Hill range from £97,995 for a two-bedroom apartment up to £299,995 for a five-bedroom detached Rickford.
Eligible customers could find they’re able to save thousands off the initial purchase price with the help of FirstBuy. The scheme offers first time buyers the chance to take out an equity loan for up to 20% of the price and they could find they only need a 4% deposit, enabling them to buy much sooner than they perhaps would if they had to pay full market value straight off.
Alternatively, first time buyers and existing home owners may choose to purchase a home through the NewBuy initiative. The Government-backed scheme offers the chance to buy a new home with a 5% deposit and 95% mortgage.
Or those who are yet to sell the property they want to move from could take advantage of Mastermove whereby Redrow enlists a tried and tested local agent to sell the customer’s current home. They may even be able to use part exchange and simply trade in their old home towards the cost of a new one.
All of the homes at Mill Hill boast Redrow’s high specification interiors with convivial open-plan layouts that put the kitchen at the heart of the home.
Kitchens are well-equipped with integrated top brand name appliances including oven, microwave and fridge freezer, plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage.
Fitted wardrobes, built-in book shelves, outside lights and under lighting to kitchen units are included in the standard specification; while bathrooms and en-suites enjoy quality fixtures and fittings.
