Five eagerly anticipated show homes opening this Saturday (October 24) will give buyers a flavour of life in a brand new Redrow home in the Cambridgeshire village of Hauxton.
Award-winning Redrow has already enjoyed ‘off plan’ sales success with its Hauxton Meadows development. To date 16 properties have been snapped up by eager buyers, with a further 22 homes subject to ‘early bird’ reservations which gives customers ‘first shout’ when they are eventually released for sale.
With dozens more would-be homeowners keen to view the properties before making a commitment, Redrow is anticipating high demand when the show homes officially open this Saturday.
At a special launch event, taking place from 1pm to 4pm, visitors will be able to look inside five homes that have been dressed to impress by professional interior designers.
Home buyers will also be treated to canapés and refreshments, while a face painter will help keep youngsters entertained.
Tonia Tyler, sales director for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), said: “The homes we’re building a Sanderson Manor and Cobden Gardens in Hauxton have caused a real stir locally as they’re distinctly different to many other new builds in and around Cambridge. Whilst many new-build homes locally are very modern in appearance, our homes have a more traditional Arts & Crafts inspired look.
“While some people have had the confidence to reserve off plan and others are ready to commit but waiting for particular properties to be released for sale, we appreciate that viewing is often an important part of the buying process. With that in mind we’re opening no fewer than five fully furnished show homes that are sure to inspire buyers.”
Sanderson Manor offers 37 homes in a choice of three, four and five-bedroom designs. Cobden Gardens features 61 properties with a range of two to five-bedroom homes.
The external design of the homes is inspired by the architecture of the Arts & Crafts era, with the names of the first two phases giving a nod to T J Cobden-Sanderson, a designer from the Arts & Crafts era who studied law at Trinity College, Cambridge.
Inside they’re bright, modern and feature high quality fixtures and fittings, plus a range of optional extras allowing customers to personalise their home.
Those who choose to make Hauxton Meadows their home will be able to embrace village living, while also benefiting from excellent commuter connections to Cambridge and beyond. Junction 11 of the M11 is just over a mile away from the development, or for those who want to let the train take the strain, Foxton Station is only three miles away with journey times of around an hour to London Kings Cross.
The show homes at Sanderson Manor and Cobden Gardens open this Saturday (Oct 24). For more information, call 01223 665254 or see www.redrow.co.uk/hauxton.
