Buy a new home in Earls Barton - before it's too late
Almost two-thirds of new homes in Earls Barton have been sold just seven months on from the launch; and with eager buyers waiting in the wings to snap up the remaining properties, time is of the essence.
Redrow’s Barley Fields development has proved popular with those who want to live in the Northamptonshire village. On average one home has been sold each week since the showhome opened in October.
Demand is such that nine more of the homes are subject to ‘early bird’ reservations, giving would-be purchasers a chance to secure their preferred property as soon as it’s released on to the market.
Tonia Tyler, sales director for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), says: “Barley Fields has been a great success due to a combination of the popular village location, the high specification of the homes and the availability of Help to Buy equity loans. The Government-backed scheme has been a real boost to people’s borrowing power and has been used in the vast majority of sales. We’re encouraging anyone thinking of moving here to contact us without delay – they may be pleasantly surprised to discover they may already have sufficient savings for a deposit on one of the homes in the final phase.”
Homes currently available at Barley Fields include three and four-bedroom designs from the sought-after Heritage Collection. Prices start from £183,950 for a three-bedroom Evesham. Using Help to Buy this property could be snapped up for an initial outlay of £147,160, including a deposit of £9,198. The remaining 20% share is covered by the equity loan, which is interest free for five years and can be repaid when the customer has more funds available of when they resell.
“Our friendly, experienced sales team are happy to guide customers through the buying process and match them with their ideal home,” Tonia adds.
“Often people already have a good idea of which property they’d love to live in and they want to reserve at the earliest opportunity. The good news for those people is that for a refundable £500 deposit they’ll get first refusal on their preferred property when it’s released for sale.”
All of the homes boast Redrow’s high specification as standard including kitchens that are well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances and bathrooms and en-suites fitted with sleek, stylish suites.
Those who buy one of the properties at Barley Fields on Compton Way will be able to embrace village living. There are several small shops locally to cater for residents’ daily needs, while the amenities of Wellingborough and Northampton are both easily accessible.
The new homes are ideally placed for buyers with children as they’re within walking distance of the local infants and junior schools.
