Countesthorpe Cricket Club is bowled over by home town support from Redrow.
The club’s Bassett Avenue ground is less than a mile from Redrow’s Thorpe Meadows development and as good sports the homebuilder has batted £2,000 sponsorship their way.
Tonia Tyler, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), says: “At Redrow we don’t just build homes, we want to play an active part in the communities in which we operate. We were particularly keen to team up with Countesthorpe Cricket Club as it’s close to Thorpe Meadows and our trainee site assistant Hayden Willan plays for the club.”
As part of the two-year sponsorship deal the Redrow logo has been printed on the kits of the three senior and nine junior teams.
James Popplewell, chairman of Countesthorpe Cricket Club, adds: “We’re a well established club with a growing number of members and a thriving junior section. We were delighted with Redrow’s generous offer of sponsorship and have been wearing our new kits with pride.”
Buyers looking for a new home in Countesthorpe will also be onto a winner with a visit to Thorpe Meadows, where Redrow has teamed traditional Arts & Crafts inspired architecture with high specification modern interiors for all-round appeal.
