The wait is almost over for hundreds of Warwickshire buyers eager to own a brand new Redrow home.
More than 400 people who’ve registered their interest in the properties at Cawston Meadows have been invited to an exclusive preview event. The homes will then go on sale ‘off plan’ to the general public from November 12.
Prices for the three, four and five-bedroom Heritage Collection designs will be announced at the launch.
Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), said: “Temperatures outside may have dropped, but the Warwickshire housing market is hotting up. As the weather turns colder, more people are warming to the idea of moving from a draughty older property to a brand new home that’s easy to manage and efficient to run. In recent weeks we’ve seen an increase in enquiries from potential purchasers eager to know more about the homes we’re building at Cawston Meadows.”
Externally the homes will look very traditional, taking inspiration from the architecture of the Arts & Crafts era; while inside they will feature a high specification designed to meet the demands of modern living.
“It’s been a couple of years since we last built and sold our Heritage Collection homes in this area and since then we’ve made some small changes to the design of the properties that will make a big difference to our customers,” Pauline added.
“In some house types we’ve moved walls and changed things around to increase the floor space. Across the collection we’ve increased the height of our internal doors by 150mm to 2,150mm and our ground-floor external doors and windows by the same amount to 2,250mm.
“We’ve also made some external changes, including the introduction of new hipped roof pitches on some house styles to allow more light into our developments and break up the streetscape.”
The design changes show Redrow has no intention of resting on its laurels with what it already a hugely popular collection, both with customers looking for a home that boasts time-honoured architectural features and industry commentators alike. The Heritage Collection has won several design awards since its introduction in 2010 and continues to win Redrow fans.
Set on the edge of Rugby, the new homes at Cawston Meadows will be within easy reach of the M45, M6 and M1, and less than an hour from London by direct train, so it is perfect for commuters. With a choice of excellent schools in the area, including the famous Rugby School at which the game is said to have been invented, it is ideal for families too.
