Black Country buyers should be prepared to spring into action if they want to secure a new Redrow homes in Rowley Regis.
More than 350 people have registered their interest in 111 homes being built at Rowley Grange on Throne Road.
In response to the demand, Redrow released selected properties for sale ‘off plan’ with show homes to follow in the summer.
One home was snapped up at a special preview event and a further seven are subject to ‘early bird’ reservations.
Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), said: “There’s a real appetite for new homes in Rowley Regis and people are keen to find out more about the properties we’re building. Due to the high interest levels we’ve released selected homes on the first phase for sale off plan and would urge buyers to contact us without delay if they want to have the pick of the properties.”
Prices for the three and four-bedroom homes will be announced when the sales office opens in May.
Rowley Grange will feature designs from the sought-after Heritage Collection, which has already proved popular in Tipton and Bilston.
Inspired by the architecture of the Arts & Crafts era, the homes will look traditional from the outside. Inside, however, they will be bright and modern with a high specification as standard.
“Because we’ll initially be selling homes off plan there will be plenty of opportunities for customers to personalise their new home choosing everything from the finish of the kitchen to the bathroom tiles, all of which can be done at the touch of a button via the ‘My Redrow’ feature of our website,” Pauline added.
The new homes at Rowley Grange are being built on the former site of St Michael’s Business and Enterprise College, which has relocated. The new school is within easy reach of the development, which is also well served by primary schools making it an ideal choice for buyers with children.
The area benefits from strong road and rail links, with the M5 just a few minutes away and Birmingham less than a 20 minute journey from the local train station.
