Demand for new homes in Hinckley remains high with 15 properties at Park View sold in the last month.
Award-winning housebuilder Redrow says location has contributed to the recent success, as properties overlooking neighbouring parkland were snapped up soon after they were released for sale.
Help to Buy equity loans have reduced the initial cost of homeownership for some of those purchasers, but there’s also been an influx of cash buyers.
Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), explains: “Dozens of homeowners have already moved into Park View and as more homes are occupied there’s a growing sense of community, helping to make this somewhere people really want to live. We’ve had a bumper few weeks, culminating in 15 sales in the last month.
“Many of these were customers we’d been working with for some time who’d previously made ‘early bird’ reservations for particular properties, including those overlooking the parkland. Help to Buy equity loans were a factor in around 40% of the recent sales, but the majority were cash buyers using the proceeds of the sale of their previous property to facilitate a move to a brand new home.”
Park View offers four-bedroom homes in a choice of styles from Redrow’s Arts & Crafts influenced Heritage Collection. Externally they look very traditional, while inside they are very much designed with the demands of busy modern lifestyles in mind and boast a host of family-friendly features.
Current availability includes the Stratford, priced from £279,995 and the Marlow, from £289,995.
“Demand for new homes in the Hinckley area remains high and, as a result, most of the properties now available to reserve won’t be ready to move into until the autumn,” Pauline adds.
“We do however have a Stratford and a Marlow which will be due for completion in June, enabling those who act fast to move sooner rather than later.”
The properties at Park View are being built close to the green spaces and sports pitches of Clarendon Park, while there are local shops on Rugby Road to cater for homeowners’ daily needs. The town centre is within walking distance, offering a wider choice of shops, plus regular markets.
The local train station is just a five minute drive or 15 minute walk away. Trains whisk passengers to Leicester in under 20 minutes, Birmingham in 35 minutes and Coventry within an hour. Even London can be reached inside 90 minutes, including driving to the station.
Show homes at Park View are open daily from 10am to 5.30pm. For the latest availability and pricing call 01455502309 or see www.redrow.c.uk/parkview.
