Droitwich Buyers Eager to Turn Over a New Leaf at The Orchards
The combination of traditional Arts & Crafts inspired architecture and high specification interiors designed with modern living is proving a hit with buyers who’ve been keen to view the show homes at the earliest opportunity.
Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), explains: “The launch of the show homes at The Orchards was hotly anticipated and we welcomed dozens of people in the first few days. Sales are off to a flying start with all of the three-bedroom homes in the initial release quickly snapped up. We’ve also taken several ‘early bird’ reservations, giving customers first refusal when their preferred home is released for sale.
“We’ve had lots of positive feedback, everyone’s been really impressed by the quality and finish of the homes. One of the things visitors say sets the Heritage Collection designs apart from other new build homes in the surrounding area is that they combine the charm and character of ‘period’ properties, with the style and convenience of being brand new. They also love how the higher ceilings, doors and windows emphasise the spaciousness of our homes.”
There are three detached show homes open for viewing – examples of the three-bedroom Leamington and Worcester styles, plus the four-bedroom Richmond.
“People tell us that the Worcester is generously proportioned for a three-bedroom property,” Pauline adds.
“The layout of the Richmond is also a firm favourite – the kitchen is at the heart of this home with adjoining family and dining area at either side. The galleried landing also has a real wow factor.”
Current prices at The Orchards start from £474,995 for a four-bedroom detached Henley.
To ensure the development is sustainable, Redrow will invest more than £9 million in the local community by building affordable homes and allocating funds to education, transport, providing open space and supporting leisure facilities.
The new homes, being built on Newlands Road, will enjoy a leafy setting with more than five acres of open space forming part of the development. Large orchards and allotments will be created, plus two large attenuation ponds, play areas and mature trees retained along the boundaries.
The show homes at The Orchards are open Wednesday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm. For more information about the properties, see www.redrow.co.uk/orchards or call 01905 409501.
