Redrow hoping for votes to 'move on up' and win national marketing award
Housebuilder Redrow is banking on your votes to be named ‘most innovative marketing campaign’ after being shortlisted for a First Time Buyer Reader Award.
If successful at the ceremony in April, the national award will recognise the creativity behind Redrow’s ‘Move on up’ campaign which was launched last year.

At a time when the number of first time buyers remained at a record low, Redrow launched its ‘Move on Up’ marketing campaign in a mission to encourage more aspiring home-owners onto the property ladder.
Drawing upon the company’s years of experience, the campaign sought to identify and highlight the most attractive features of the Government’s NewBuy scheme, which provides 95% mortgages to homeowners, in an imaginative and creative way.
Recognising that the process of buying a new home is often a stressful and confusing one, the campaign looked to promote 95% mortgages in as straightforward and relevant a way as possible.
Kim Peters, Redrow’s group sales and marketing director, said: “We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to get onto the property ladder and are delighted that our innovative campaign to highlight the help schemes available to first time buyers has been recognised by this award nomination.”
The First Time Buyer Reader Awards celebrate achievement and excellence in the housebuilding industry. The ceremony, which takes place on April 26 at The Landmark in London, will be hosted by TV personality Nicki Chapman.

The company received a 5* Award in the Home Builder Federation (HBF) annual customer satisfaction survey in 2011 and 2012; collected the Silver award in the Large Housebuilder category of the 2012 What House? awards; and its ‘Share a little bit of joy’ campaign was named best marketing initiative at the 2012 Housebuilder Awards. Redrow has also this year been shortlisted for ‘Housebuilder of the Year’ by the Building Awards 2013 and the ‘Large Developer of the Year’ at the RESI Awards 2013.
