Redrow Homes in the running for two national housebuilding awards
Redrow has been shortlisted for not one, but two prestigious national awards which recognise the best of the UK housebuilding industry.
The Flintshire based developer is in the running for the titles of Housebuilder of the Year, at the Building Awards 2013, together with Large Developer of the Year at the 2013 RESI Awards.
The Building Awards 2013, established by Building magazine, is one of the industry’s most celebrated events and recognises the top performers by rewarding innovation throughout the construction sector. Redrow is one of four companies shortlisted for the coveted prize of Housebuilder of the Year by a panel of industry experts.
The glittering awards ceremony will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on April 18 when over 1,300 industry professionals will be there to discover who the winners are. And this year will be a double celebration – celebrating the winners who have excelled across the construction industry, along with celebrating Building Magazine’s 170th year.
The 2013 RESI Awards are now in their second year. Designed to recognise and reward the leading players involved all aspects of residential property, over 550 people attended the inaugural RESI Awards in 2012. This year, the awards ceremony will take place on May 1 at the London Hilton.
Kim Peters, Redrow’s group sales and marketing director, said: “We are delighted that the judging panels have recognised Redrow to be one of the UK’s most forward thinking developers.
“We are always looking to stay one step ahead through innovations in quality, design, specification and customer service and are thrilled to be short-listed for both of these important awards.”
Central to Redrow’s product range is The New Heritage Collection, combining traditional ‘Arts & Crafts’ influenced exteriors with modern interiors. In addition to this core family product, Redrow is equally at home building high value London apartment schemes or large-scale bespoke regeneration projects.
In the past year Redrow has continued to expand its London operation, which opened in 2010, launching its flagship One Commercial Street development of luxury apartments in Central London, and Kingston Riverside, on the banks of the Thames.
Redrow has also played a key role in pioneering Government backed initiatives to kick-start the housing industry, including being one of the first developers to offer 95% mortgages through NewBuy.
Redrow Homes is one of the UK’s leading house builders, operating across England and Wales, with a strong emphasis on high quality family housing in prime locations. Its New Heritage Collection of family homes combines traditional looking, ‘Arts & Crafts’ influenced exteriors with bright, modern, high specification interiors.
