The Perfect Match in Widnes
Redrow Homes, who have recently launched two new developments in Widnes, have kicked off a new relationship with their sporting neighbours by sponsoring their latest home match.
Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “We are proud to offer our support to this historic local club. Where possible we like to get involved in the communities in which we build and we hope to forge an on-going relationship with Widnes RUFC.”
Club President Graham McLean thanked them for their support. “We are grateful for the help and assistance given to us by a company of the stature of Redrow Homes. Such support is vital to a community club like ours, and for that we are extremely grateful,” he said.
Widnes RUFC was founded in 1924 and has had its base at Heath Road since 1959.
Redrow sales consultants Pauline Bennett and Emma Strachan (pictured) attended a recent home game to watch Widnes RUFC triumph 25-21 against Wirral. Pauline and Emma are both based at Redrow’s two local developments; Barrow’s Green, off Barrow’s Green Lane, and Lancaster Place, off Lunts Heath Road, where Redrow is building a collection of two, three, four and five-bedroom family homes.
