Multi-award winning site manager adds to his collection
A redrow site manager has received a quality award for the third year in a row to add to his mounting collection for taking pride in the homes he builds.
Tony Gordon, site manager of Dibbin Brook in Bromborough, Wirral has received a National House-Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job ‘Quality’ award.
He could now be in line to pick up ‘Seal of Excellence’ award from the NHBC, which will be announced in September.
Three-time winner Tony scooped the honours for the high calibre of development at Dibbin Brook.
“It’s fantastic to win a third successive award and a real testament to the hard work off all the site staff. We all take a pride in our work and I think that really reflects in the quality of homes we are building for our customers,” said Tony, who lives in Irlam.
The 42-year-old has worked in the building trade for more than 20 years. Just last month he was one of just 25 site managers, out of hundreds in the country, to pick up a commendation award in the ‘large builder’ category at the 2012 NHBC Health and Safety Awards.
The Pride in the Job awards is the only UK-wide competition dedicated to recognising site managers who achieve the highest standards in house-building. It has been instrumental in driving up the quality of new homes for 32 years.
Quality Awards are presented to the best 430 site managers in the UK. An award represents success for the site manager, his team and associated trades as well providing a reputational boost for their company. Most importantly, homeowners who buy a Pride in the Job award-winning home know they are benefitting from a high quality product.
