Sales team bolstered by new recruits
Rapid expansion of Redrow’s North West and North Wales division has led to four new team members being taken on to boost its sales operations.
Based at the company’s divisional headquarters in Ewloe, Flintshire, the new line up consists of a new area sales manager and trainee sales manager to add to the existing team, along with two new sales consultants based at new Redrow developments in the region.
Redrow (NW), which has housing ventures across Flintshire, Wrexham, Greater Manchester and Cheshire, is currently building at eight different locations. However, the ambitious company plans to increase that to 12 active sales outlets by December and then to 15 next year, which would almost double its current total.
Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow (NW), said: “With such rapid growth planned for the next 12 months, it was vital that we took steps to bolster our sales team. We’ve enjoyed a strong sales performance over the past year and retained our five star customer satisfaction rating from the Home Builders Federation (HBF), so we want to keep on track to improve even further. The new team members bring a wealth of experience with them from a diverse range of sectors, which will add strength and depth to the existing team.”
Recently recruited area sales manager Sam Williams, 42, lives in Congleton. Cheshire, and joins Redrow (NW) from another major housebuilder, bringing with her 23 years of experience in the new homes industry.
She said: “As a prestige builder, Redrow is a company that has always impressed me because of its ethos of building quality homes to a high specification. It’s really exciting times for the division as we’re going from strength to strength with some superb new sites and a great product in our New Heritage Collection.”
Redrow has also appointed Sarah Weaver, from Nantwich, to the newly formed position of trainee sales manager. The role will enable her to gain tuition and experience in all aspects of sales to give her a platform for a future career in management. Sarah, 23, previously worked as a hotel wedding co-ordinator in Cheshire.
She said: “It’s a change in direction for me to join Redrow but I’m really looking forward to the new challenge. The whole team have been very supportive and I’m eager to learn more.”
Redrow also welcomes two new sales consultants, who will be based at developments. Emma Strachan, from West Kirkby on the Wirral, has a background in retail sales and previously ran her own boutique; and Laura Wood, from Weston, near Crewe, was formerly cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic.
Redrow currently has home for sale in Wrexham, Buckley, Northop, Winsford, Irlam, Altrincham and Widnes. Future developments are coming soon in Huntington and Stretton, both near Chester. For sales information on these and other ventures visit www.redrow.co.uk.
