Mayor officially opens new Fylde show homes
A visit by the Mayor of Fylde Cllr Heather Speak, marked the official opening of new show homes at Whitehill Meadows near Blackpool.
The Mayor was Redrow Homes’ guest of honour and cut the ribbon to officially open the fully furnished Canterbury style show home at the development. Other guests at the VIP event included councillors, along with other local members and representatives from local businesses.
Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), commented: “We’re delighted that the Mayor of Fylde Cllr Heather Speak and other distinguished guests were able to join us to mark this important milestone for our Whitehill Meadows venture. The show homes have been eagerly awaited and we’re now looking forward to showing prospective purchasers around the Canterbury and finished examples of the Stratford and Salisbury house types.”
As with all new homes in Redrow’s New Heritage Collection, the properties at Whitehill Meadows look very traditional from the outside yet are bright and modern inside. Inspired by the architecture of the Arts & Crafts era, they offer the charm and character of ‘period’ properties but without the drawbacks.
Mayor of Fylde Cllr Heather Speak was on the planning committee when Redrow applied for permission to build the homes and had watched with interest as the development had taken shape.
Speaking at the launch she said: “I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the finish. There’s such a nice feel to the show home that I feel like I could live here! I’m sure that the residents of Whitehill Meadows will be very happy living here.”
Easy to maintain and efficient to run, the homes offer stylish yet practical solution to modern living.
Kitchens are well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances, plus floor to ceiling cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage; while bathrooms and en-suites boast quality fixtures and fittings with a tile range exclusive to Redrow.
“At Redrow we appreciate that all of our customers are individuals and will have different requirements when it comes to choosing a new home. With examples of three house types now open for viewing, purchasers can make an informed decision about what’s right for them,” Claire added.
Located between Lytham and Blackpool in Lytham St Annes Way, Whitehill Meadows offers residents the chance to choose their pace in life – the excitement and entertainment of Blackpool, the thriving city of Preston or the quiet, more relaxed Lytham.
Just minutes from the M55, the development’s well connected for commuting; while with a number of schools nearby, it’s also well suited to those with families.
The show homes at Whitehill Meadows are open for viewing Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm. For more information about the homes available, call 01253 274171 or see www.redrow.co.uk/whitehill.
