Flintshire MP is guest of honour at new homes open day
A visit by the MP for Alyn and Deeside marked a special open day at a popular new homes development.
Mark Tami MP was Redrow Homes’ guest of honour as the housebuilder hosted a professionals’ launch event at its sought after Penymynydd venture Heritage Park.
Guests looked around two stylish show homes and were able to see how the other properties at the location are beginning to take shape. Tea, coffee and cupcakes were also provided as part of Macmillan’s Big Coffee Morning event, with Redrow donating £10 to the cancer charity for every person who attended.
Sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW), Sam Williams, spoke to visitors about the popularity of the development before Mr Tami cut the ribbon to officially mark the occasion.
Sam said: “We were delighted to welcome Mark Tami MP to take a look around Heritage Park as it begins to really take shape. It was also a great opportunity to welcome a number of our suppliers and partners to the development, while also raising money as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s Big Coffee Morning.
“We’ve now sold more than a third of the homes on the development and eight families have already moved in. It’s proving very popular and we’re excited with how well it is progressing. The feedback we’ve received on the quality of the build and traditional style of the homes has been absolutely fantastic.”
Mr Tami said: “It has been a difficult time for house building in recent years but the building of new homes in Flintshire will certainly boost the local economy and encourage people to move into the area.”
Heritage Park will eventually feature of a total of 56 beautifully crafted properties to suit everyone; from delightful two-bedroom homes perfect for first time buyers or downsizers to large four-bedroom detached family homes.
All of the homes are from Redrow’s Heritage Collection – a premium housing product with more than a hint of nostalgia in its exterior design, and yet boasting a high calibre interior specification to meet the needs of modern lifestyles.
