Last chance to use Help to Buy at Heritage Park
Prospective home buyers are being urged to have a look at some brand new homes in Penymynydd to see if they can take advantage of a new scheme before it’s too late.
Help to Buy Wales means that house hunters can buy a new property at Redrow’s Heritage Park, off Mold Road, with just a 5% deposit. However, the property needs to under £300,000 and there are only a handful of qualifying homes now left at the venture.
Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “After only launching at the beginning of the year, Help to Buy Wales has proven to be a great success.
“The scheme is ideal for first-time buyers or home owners who haven’t had the chance to build up substantial equity in the property they’ve just sold, but they need to act fast if they want to take up the opportunity to use Help to Buy at Heritage Park.”
The four-bedroom ‘Cambridge’, with its open plan kitchen, dining and family room, is currently available under the scheme.
The home, on the market for £289,995, could be purchased with a 5% deposit of just £14,500 using Help to Buy. Purchasers would then cover the remaining costs with up to a 20% equity loan from the Welsh Government, interest free for five years, and a 75% mortgage from a lender of choice.
All the homes at Penymynydd hail from Redrow’s award-winning Heritage Collection and marry a traditional Arts and Crafts architectural design with contemporary, 21st century interiors.
Situated just over the Welsh border in a splendid countryside setting, yet still within easy reach of Chester and the extensive North West motorway network, residents at Heritage Park will enjoy the best of both worlds.
There is a small selection of local shops that serve the development, as well as a Tesco superstore at Broughton and Asda in Deeside for the weekly shop. Nearby Broughton Retail Park offers a fantastic selection of high street fashion and home furnishings stores.
Additionally, at just seven miles away, Chester offers an exceptional shopping experience complemented by a unique range of boutique independent shops and an unbeatable choice of cafes, bars and restaurants.
Wrexham is just 20 minutes’ drive away, Liverpool can be reached in 40 minutes and Manchester in just over an hour, so Heritage Park is also perfectly placed for commuters.
