Get things moving with part exchange
With research showing it takes longer than the UK average to sell a home in North Wales* home buyers are being urged to look at a scheme that could help them to buck the slow moving trend.
Research by property website Rightmove has shown that Welsh homes take an average of 87 days to sell, while the British average is 65 days.
But, by using a scheme that allows you to effectively trade in your old home for a new one, the moving process can be sped up considerably.
Redrow’s Heritage Park venture in Penymyndd has just a handful of four-bedroom homes still available, which the award-winning housebuilder is offering with part exchange.
Sam Williams, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW), explained: “If homeowners have a property that is at least 35% less than the value of their chosen Redrow home, the value of the old property can be put towards the cost of buying a brand new one.
“Using the part exchange option is a great way to save time and money and those who buy and sell in this way could find they’re able to move much sooner than if wait to secure a buyer on the open market.
“Heritage Park has been very popular so far so we’d urge buyers to come and take a look at these impressive family homes before they miss out.”
The homes all hail from Redrow’s Heritage Collection and marry a traditional Arts and Crafts architectural design with contemporary, 21st century interiors.
Prices start from £289,995 for a ‘Cambridge’ housetype which boasts an open plan kitchen / dining room along with a separate lounge, up to the ‘Balmoral’, with its pretty porch and spacious bedrooms with prices starting from £381,995.
Situated just over the Welsh border in a splendid countryside setting, yet still within easy reach of Chester and the extensive North West motorway network, residents at Heritage Park will enjoy the best of both worlds.
There is a small selection of local shops that serve the development, as well as a Tesco superstore at Broughton and Asda in Deeside for the weekly shop.
There are also the high street fashion and home furnishing stores at nearby Broughton Retail Park, which is currently undergoing an expansion to include a new 11-screen cinema, choice of restaurants and a new bus hub. At just seven miles away, Chester is within easy reach, as is Wrexham at 12 miles away and Liverpool, which is 18 miles away.
Wrexham is just 20 minutes’ drive away, Liverpool can be reached in 40 minutes and Manchester in just over an hour, so Heritage Park is also perfectly placed for commuters.
