Mark and Gavin Climb the Professional Property Ladder
Now the former national make-up artist for iconic brand Chanel is made-up to be building on that success in his new role as an area sales manager for Redrow Homes in Lancashire.
Mark, 43, from, Chorlton, Manchester, has been appointed to the role at the division's regional headquarters in Chorley, bringing with him a wealth of sales experience, most recently in the property industry including Knight Frank, Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) and latterly Barratt Homes.
While excelling in a career which has included marketing, management and customer service, Mark has also trained as a life coach which will stand him in good stead as part of his role is to mentor and motivate Redrow’s development based sales consultants.
He will be joined by Gavin Powell, 24, from Eastham, Wirral, who has been promoted to a new role of trainee area sales manager.
Mark will oversee sales at developments in Lancaster, Fleetwood, Garstang, Fulwood, Wrea Green and Whalley, as well as introduce new developments including The Pavilion in Poulton-le-Fylde. And he can't wait to continue the projects already underway and drive the company forward - ever maintaining the reputation of which it is proud.
“Redrow is renowned for creating quality homes and that is something I wanted to be a part of,” said Mark.

He added: “Throughout my career I have had lots of experience of managing people, training, coaching and mentoring them to bring out the best of a team’s talents and capabilities. I aim to continue that with Redrow, for the benefit of those who work for the company and those who invest in its homes.”
Gavin, who has previously worked as a sales consultant at Redrow’s hugely successful Summerhill Park in Liverpool, will now oversee the smooth running of several Redrow developments at Banks, Buckshaw Village, Whittle le Woods, Clayton le Woods and in Standish.
Like Mark, he was impressed by Redrow's constant commitment to training and development and, in particular, for nurturing home-grown talent.

When I originally joined as a sales consultant it was because I knew that there would be the opportunity to undergo training, learn new skills and progress my career,” said Gavin.
“Taking on the challenge of trainee area sales manager is the perfect next step.”
Gavin, who when he is not working likes to cycle and raise money for charities like Clatterbridge Hospital Cancer Research Campaign, graduated from University of Chester with a BA (Hons) in business studies and, prior to joining Redrow, gained sales experience with Halfords.
