Start planned for latest Fulwood homes
Daleside Meadows, the sold-out development of 19 Arts & Crafts inspired Heritage Collection homes, has set the scene for 170 more properties on just over 20 acres of additional land off Lightfoot Lane.
Preliminary works have already begun on the site and housebuilding will commence shortly, with sales scheduled to launch in July.
Once again new homes will be from Redrow’s popular Heritage Collection, which combines traditional looking exteriors and period-style features with bright, modern interiors designed for 21st century family life.
As well as three and four-bedroom private sale homes, mostly detached, the development will feature 30% affordable homes, including properties that will be sold at less than market value under Redrow’s Advantage scheme.
The spine road through Redrow’s new development will provide a section of the Preston East-West link road and the developer will create public open spaces, a children’s play area and a landscaped attenuation pond alongside its homes.
There will also be financial contributions to local infrastructure projects through the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Redrow will provide a £100,000 subsidy for a new bus service serving the development.
Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), said: “Since launching Daleside Meadows last year we have been involved in lengthy, often complex negotiations to acquire land for this second development. We are pleased to have successfully concluded those discussions and look forward to bringing additional much needed, quality new housing to the area.
“People have already seen the calibre and kerb appeal of our Heritage Collection homes and will know to expect more of the same.”
