Homeowners enjoy Woodford Winter Wonderland
A TASTE of Christmas future was enjoyed by families during a special festive event hosted by Redrow Homes at Woodford Garden Village.
Existing residents and future homeowners at the flagship Cheshire development were treated to festive fayre, face painting, seasonal music from a saxophonist plus a special guest appearance by Santa.
Anna Evans-Kerr, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “The wintery weather really helped add to the atmosphere and we’re grateful to everyone who braved the snow and the cold to join us. Events like this are important in helping foster a thriving sense of community so that people feel very much part of the neighbourhoods in which they live. It was great to see so many of our customers joining in the festive fun and getting to know the people who will become their new neighbours.
“Meeting Santa was a highlight for staff and customers alike, particularly the younger residents of Woodford Garden Village who were concerned he may not know that they’ve changed address. They can now rest assured that providing they’re good right up until Christmas he’ll be delivering their presents.”
Woodford Garden Village is the first garden village of its kind in the region for decades and one that will provide a lifestyle unlike any other. It will eventually feature around 1,000 new homes and a host of amenities including opportunities for sports and recreation. Sensitive to its idyllic rural location, the development will feature significant amounts of open spaces including traditional village greens.
Show homes at Woodford Garden Village are, open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5.30pm, and Monday between 12 noon and 5.30pm.
