Buyers Take Afternoon Tea with Redrow
Existing and future residents were treated to bubbly and a contemporary afternoon tea so they could experience a bit of al fresco dining while meeting their new neighbours at the development.
A jazz duo provided the elegant musical backdrop and children were able to have their faces painted and receive a special balloon modelled just for them to mark the occasion.
All of the entertainment took place outside the seven impressive show homes at Woodford Garden Village and a chef used the beautiful Highgrove show home to cook and prepare the food, allowing visitors to see it all in action.
Jason Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW) said: “Woodford Garden Village is a fabulous place to set up home and it was great to be able to show off the village lifestyle to our new residents. It was a really lovely atmosphere with people being able to sit out in the sunshine and enjoy all the entertainment on offer.
“Everyone really enjoyed the food and it was a fantastic way to bring people together. We will be building in Woodford for many years to come and creating a whole new community so we wanted to get things off to a really good start.”
For those thinking of joining the fledgling community, there is currently a range of four and five-bedroom homes from Redrow’s popular Heritage Collection which marries Arts and Crafts-style exteriors with high specification contemporary interiors available. Prices start from £451,999.
Transforming the former site of the historic Woodford Aerodrome, phase two of the development, Lancaster Green, is well underway.
Woodford Garden Village is the first garden village in the North West region for decades and one that will provide a lifestyle unlike any other. It will eventually feature around 920 new homes and a host of brand new amenities including opportunities for sports and recreation. Sensitive to its rural location, the development will feature significant amounts of open spaces including traditional village greens.
Close to the South Manchester/Cheshire border it is within easy reach of popular villages including Wilmslow, Poynton and Bramhall.
