Singing Stars shine bright at first community event at Ebbsfleet Green
The event is a first for the flourishing community where 80 homes are now occupied. Pupils from
local Manor Community Primary School, all part of the Singing Stars choral group, gathered around a Christmas tree donated by Redrow to sing carols, with festive treats also provided by the housebuilder. The Singing Stars were joined by their parents, residents at Ebbsfleet Green, representatives of Dartford Borough Council and Ebbsfleet Development Corporation and the Redrow team.
Stuart Galloway, Area Sales Manager at Redrow South East, commented: “Ebbsfleet Green is set to be a thriving community and we are really keen to make our mark and encourage people to come together, enjoy each other’s company and build long-lasting relationships. The event was a great success and could be the first of many community events. We were incredibly pleased by the turn-out, with 15 local school pupils, residents and Redrow colleagues coming together.”
Councillor David Mote, Dartford Borough Council, commented: “It was great to join the pupils, parents, and residents at Ebbsfleet Green’s first festive carol service. It’s always nice to see Christmas bringing existing and new communities together.”
