Redrow Kits out Herne Bay FC
The housebuilder has kitted out the club’s first team, who play their home matches at Stanley Gardens, less than a mile from The Fairways, where new homes are being built.
Club financial director Ronald Boddy said: “Herne Bay FC is a real community club offering opportunities for all ages and abilities with junior and women’s teams plus walking football too. As with all clubs at this level funding is an issue and we’re reliant on sponsorship and advertising to enable us to make the sport accessible to all. We’re grateful to Redrow for their continued support.”
Herne Bay FC has a range of advertising, sponsorship and commercial opportunities available, with packages starting from £30 through to financing refurbishment works.
It’s the second time that Redrow has teamed up with the club. Previously the income from Redrow advertising at the ground was used towards the cost of winter training facilities.
Stuart Galloway, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South East), said: “Herne Bay FC is close to our new homes at The Fairways and so as near neighbours we were happy to support the club. It’s sports clubs like this, which along with other community groups, help make Herne Bay a great place to live. We wish the team every success for the 2017/18 season.”
