Redrow Donates £1000 to local Lisvane Church
The donation further underlines Redrow’s commitment to community engagement in the areas surrounding their developments and ensuring that their involvement in the area has a positive impact for those already living there, as well as new residents.
Both of Redrow’s developments in Lisvane were incredibly popular and sold out quickly. The developments are set in an idyllic rural location near Lisvane village, and feature homes from Redrow’s distinguished Heritage Collection.
Bill Morgan, who attended the cheque presentation, bought the show home at Redrow’s nearby development, Chapel Mead, after a decision to move to the area to be closer to family who live locally.
Bill joined the church to get involved in the community and has been delighted with both his new home and the service received from Redrow. Bill said he was grateful for Redrow’s donation to the church and for their continued commitment to the area.
St Denys Church has a longstanding history of over a thousand years and hosts services every Sunday. The church offers a high standard of youth and children’s work and engages proactively within the community by running regular activities as well as forming their very own football team.
Kate Lacey, Area Sales Manager from Redrow Homes South Wales said: “We are delighted to have been able to present St Denys Church with this donation. At Redrow we pride ourselves on building quality homes that really bring something to local communities. We hope our donation to the church will help support the services they provide and contribute towards continuing their positive work.”
Redrow’s closest development to Lisvane is now Awel Y Garth, Pentyrch. Set in a beautiful, rural location the homes offer spectacular views over the Garth mountain whilst remaining just 7 miles from Cardiff, with great transport links and a regular train service.
