We have now sold more than 90% of its final phase of apartments at The Loftings in Maidenhead. We have launched the final phase in the summer of 2019, and just a handful of one- and two-bedroom apartments now remain, starting in price from £284,950 for a one-bedroom home and £339,950 for a two-bedroom apartment.
The apartments all benefit from bespoke, modern exteriors, with large windows offering plenty of light and private balconies or terraces. The interiors benefit from an open plan layout with high-quality fixtures and fittings throughout, such as integrated kitchen appliances. All apartments boast a separate laundry room, and the two-bedroom apartments have an en-suite to the main bedroom, as well as a separate bathroom. All homes benefit from an allocated parking space.
Location, location, location
The Loftings is located within walking distance of Maidenhead town centre with Maidenhead retail park on residents’ doorsteps, a little more than a five-minute walk away. A survey of 2,000 people* undertaken by us in June 2020 revealed that proximity to local shops is a top community feature for 32% of those living in the South East of England.
The Loftings is also just a 10-minute walk from Maidenhead train station, with London Paddington approximately 20 minutes away via the fastest commuter trains. When Crossrail arrives residents will be able to travel directly to Tottenham Court Road in 40 minutes and Farringdon in 44 minutes, without changing. Travelling beyond the Capital is also easy, with Heathrow Airport only a 22-minute journey away by car. With more people expecting to spend more time working from home in future, these fantastic transport links help residents to remain nimble for instances when face-to-face meetings or travel to the office is required.
The Government-backed Help to Buy scheme is available on all homes at The Loftings, meaning buyers can purchase with as little as a 5% deposit and an equity loan of 20%. Following the announcement of the Government’s stamp duty holiday on 8th July 2020, homemovers will also pay no stamp duty on these apartments.
Visiting The Loftings’ sales centre
Our sales centre and two show home apartments at The Loftings are open for both appointments and walk-ins. We have developed robust plans for its workforce and customers which include stringent social distancing protocols, rigorous cleaning regimes and a range of physical measures to reduce the spread of Covid-19. This includes several already fitted adaptations to sales centres and site facilities. Interested buyers can also access virtual viewings online, speak to sales consultants remotely and legally reserve a new home via our dedicated MyRedrow customer portal.
Mark Vanson, sales director at our Southern Counties division, said: “The apartments at The Loftings have proved incredibly popular with first-time buyers both locally and those who previously rented in London, looking for a more affordable option to get on the property ladder, in proximity to local amenities and excellent transport connections. It’s now the final opportunity to secure one of our contemporary apartments and we are eager for potential customers to come and see for themselves the spacious open-plan layouts and high quality finishes, or to contact our team for a virtual appointment if this feels more comfortable.
“Each with access to private outdoor space, spacious interiors and a central location, these apartments are ideal for achieving a balanced lifestyle between work and leisure, as we all adapt to a ‘new normal’.”
