Redrow launches futuristic new virtual tool for home seekers in Exeter
Housebuilder Redrow West Country is at the forefront of a technical revolution as it introduces a dynamic virtual tool for house seekers at its Exeter development.
Redrow has teamed up with visual technology experts, Futurium, to create interactive 3D visual solutions so potential home owners visiting Saxon Brook in Exeter will now be able to walk through the houses and explore the development as though they are actually there.
“It will help customers to choose the plot and location, the house type and the interior design choices so they can visualise and make decisions with confidence and ease” said Annie Williams, Head of Sales at Redrow West Country. Walk mode allows visitors to explore inside each house at Saxon Brook allowing them to choose, design and view their own kitchen, bathroom and flooring. Potential home owners can gain a better idea of what work tops they would like, what flooring would suit their taste and can even open cupboards and drawers.
Annie continued: “Homeowners will be able to visualise what their house will look like, how the chosen features will look, how it will all come together. It will ensure they make all the right choices so the house they are buying, the location they are choosing, will be perfect for them. The house of their dreams will be the house they will have.”
“You can walk through it, touch it and make selections just as you would in the real world. If you are looking at a static image of a room, you have just the one view; in 360 degree images you are stuck in the same spot. In the real world you can walk into the room, touch it and look at it from different angles, and you can do the same with this technology.”
“You can see what your kitchen will look like, choose the flooring, the wall tiles and the units, the different colours, finishes and surfaces and see how they look together. If it doesn't look quite right, you can change it until you are happy.”
“You can walk down the road outside 'your' house and discover the views around each corner, you can look right and left. It simply brings everything to life in perfect detail. And all this innovative technology is available in our marketing suite.”
Annie concluded: “I encourage house hunters to visit the sales centre at Saxon Brook to see Futurium in action and to meet our Sales Consultants who can demonstrate how this innovative piece of technology works.”
Close to the M5 and Exeter Airport, Saxon Brook has excellent commuter connections. Pinhoe railway station is located just a mile away from the site making it the perfect access point to the city centre.
The development is located on Pinn Hill, Exeter, Devon, EX4 0BB and currently has a range of beautiful three, four and five bedroom homes available.
Current prices at Saxon Brook start from £295,000. For more information on the homes available at Saxon Brook, contact the sales centre (open daily, 10:00am – 5:30pm) on 01392 339637.
