There will soon be more choice for home buyers in Easingwold with the launch of Redrow’s latest venture.
The award-winning housebuilder has planning permission to build 93 homes on an 8.5 acre site in York Road.
The development, known as Oaklands, launches next weekend (July 14-15), when a sales office will open on site.
Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), says: “Oaklands will be a welcome boost to the local housing market, offering a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes. The choice of properties means there will be something for almost everyone – from first time buyers to growing families and downsizers who want to live somewhere that’s easy to manage and efficient to run. Anyone who is considering moving home should register their interest without delay so that they can have their pick of the properties.”
Featuring designs from the sought-after New Heritage Collection, the homes will look very traditional from the outside; while inside they will be bright, modern and full of family-friendly features.
Arts and Crafts features will be seen to varying degrees on the homes including dropped eaves, projecting plinths, timber or tiled canopies over doors and windows, supported by decorative gallows brackets, and the use of larch lap boarding as a feature.
Open plan layouts will put well equipped kitchens at the heart of the homes at Oaklands. Practical yet stylish those kitchens will boast integrated top brand name appliances including microwave, oven and fridge freezer plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage. Upstairs, family bathrooms and en-suites will enjoy quality fixtures and fittings, with a tile range exclusive to Redrow.
The first homes will be sold ‘off plan’ as Redrow works towards opening a show home.
Buyers can enjoy a taste of things to come at Oaklands by logging on to the award-winning broadband television channel Redrow.TV, where they’ll discover virtual show home tours
“We have found that more and more house hunters are researching the local housing market online before viewing a property. With that in mind our online television channel is a great marketing tool as it enables customers to experience all that a Redrow home has to offer from the comfort of their home, office or wherever they access the internet,” Patsy explained.
“It means they don’t have to wait for the show home at Oaklands to open; instead they can take a virtual tour of Redrow properties from all over the country.”
