Low Street Homes are on a High
The new homes collection, in Sherburn in Elmet, near Selby is blooming - with sold signs sprouting up throughout, according to sales consultant Ella Askham.
“Houses here are just flying,” said Ella, who’s been welcoming househunters to Saxon Gardens since May – only a couple of months after the show homes first opened.
“Customers just love it,” she added. “I think part of the success is due to its excellent location. Although there are fields around and it feels fairly rural, trains can take you to Leeds and York in just 20 minutes, so it’s perfect for commuters with a job in the city who want a more relaxed and pleasant home life.
“Price wise it is really good too with a four-bedroom detached Shrewsbury currently available from £264,950; and people have fallen in love with the home designs and the ever-popular Heritage Collection style from Redrow, which combines traditional exteriors with very modern and spacious interiors. Traditional is a word used very fondly – and frequently – by our happy customers.”
Other plus points for Saxon Gardens are the excellent schools in the area, which means it’s perfect for families, added Ella: “People with young children love the village feel and the great schools so close, it’s a wonderful place to raise a family.
“But the combination of amenities and its situation make it ideal for professional couples, singles and those downsizing too.”
The three show homes demonstrate just how well designed and crafted the properties are with a three-bedroom Warwick house style, and two four-bedroom houses, the Oxford – “very popular” - and the Welwyn, available for viewing.
Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), said: “Saxon Gardens offers the best of both worlds, with the peace and quiet of village life combined with excellent commuter links, so it isn’t surprising that it has been, and continues to be, one of our best-selling developments.
“Sherburn is a quaint village with a superb sense of community that welcomes people in. Complement that with a varied collection of beautiful, well built and practical properties and everything about this development is ideal.
“Currently 43 homes have been sold at Saxon Gardens with two further ‘early bird’ registrations. And that success is already being echoed on our more recently launched Sycamores development, which neighbours it, especially when people view the show homes and see for themselves the high quality of homes Redrow offers.”
To make it even easier to acquire a dream home, Redrow is offering a range of incentives, including Help to Buy, the Government-backed scheme which allows buyers to purchase a new home with as little as 5% deposit. The initial cost is reduced by a 20% equity loan which is interest free for five years, making the homes even easier to afford.
The show homes and sales centre are open daily between 10am-5.30pm. For more details call 01977 717516 or visit www.redrow.co.uk/saxongardens.
