Open event at Award-Winning York Development
The Granary – situated in Water Lane, Clifton, and comprising homes inspired by 1930s Arts & Crafts-style architecture – recently scooped a Residential Development category prize at the UK Property Awards alongside its Redrow neighbour, Lancaster Mews.
Now prospective buyers will get the opportunity to find out how they could own a Heritage Collection new home during open days taking place at The Granary on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 January.
Attendees will be able to learn how easy it could be to own one of Redrow’s award winning new homes.
Help available includes Mastermove, a time and hassle-saving scheme enabling people to purchase a Redrow home whilst the experienced homebuilder takes care of selling the buyer’s existing property for them.
By choosing Mastermove, the carrying out of valuations, the appointment of an estate agent to market the property and much of the paperwork involved are all taken care of; Redrow will also chase progress and, ultimately, contribute to the customer’s selling fees.
During the weekend, mortgage specialists will also be on hand to discuss Help to Buy – whereby the Government provides an equity loan for up to 20% of a newly-built property’s value, which remains interest free for five years.
With a 20% loan, a buyer only requires a mortgage for 75% of the property value and a 5% deposit, providing a vital springboard onto the property ladder.
“Our open event presents a superb opportunity for would-be buyers to discuss a range of options designed to make the process of purchasing one of our award-winning homes at The Granary an easy and smooth one,” said Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire).
“We were delighted when UK Property Awards’ judges homed in on the design and quality of our homes, as well as their innovation, originality and commitment to sustainability. And now would-be home owners can see what that means for them too.”
The Granary features 119 homes from Redrow’s Arts & Crafts-inspired Heritage Collection, with traditional craftsmanship exteriors complementing modern and spacious interiors; while the neighbouring Lancaster Mews offers 96 properties from Redrow’s Georgian-influenced Regent Collection.
Helping to win the award, Redrow has also invested more than half a million pounds into the community with contributions to the transport system, local education and the creation of open space.
Current availability at The Granary includes three and four-bedroom detached homes from £314,950, while Lancaster Mews has a limited number of three-bedroom mews properties from £244,950 and five-bedroom townhouses from £299,950.
Join Redrow at The Granary between 10am and 5pm on January 27 or 28 to find out more about Mastermove, Help to Buy and the homes available; or call 01904 565873 for more information or log onto www.redrow.co.uk/thegranary
