Homebuyers event to offer free mortgage advice
Redrow is staging a ‘Meet the Experts Weekend’ at its development of 1930s-inspired Heritage Collection homes, in Highburton village near Huddersfield, from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18.
The open-to-all event will take place in The Shrewsbury show home, in Burton Acres Lane – an incredibly appealing four-bedroom detached property. A mortgage advisor will be present to sit down and discuss options for interested buyers to realise a chance of owning one of the expertly-crafted three and four-bedroom homes.
The event will also be an opportunity to find out about Redrow’s ‘Mastermove’ scheme, which is open to those with a house to sell. This time and hassle-saving scheme enables people to purchase a Redrow home whilst the experienced homebuilder takes care of selling the buyer’s existing property for them.
By choosing Mastermove, the carrying out of valuations, the appointment of an estate agent to market the property and much of the paperwork involved are all taken care of; Redrow will also chase progress and, ultimately, contribute to the customer’s selling fees.
Among the other incentives homeowners can discover more about is Help to Buy –a Government-backed scheme which provides an equity loan for up to 20% of a newly-built property’s value, which remains interest free for five years. A buyer then only requires a mortgage for 75% of the property value and a 5% deposit, providing a vital springboard onto the property ladder.
“Our Meet the Experts Weekend presents a wonderful opportunity for prospective buyers to sit down with a specialist and discuss the range of options that could help them attain their dream home at Springfields,” said Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire).
“Springfields occupies a fantastic village setting close to countryside as well as all of the amenities of Huddersfield. Since its launch we have had a significant number of off-plan and early bird reservations. The open event is also a chance to have a look round and see what makes the development so special.
“People who come along will be assured of a warm welcome, a cuppa and the chance to get free advice and support in a relaxed, homely setting.”
The Shrewsbury starts from £286,950 and has been carefully crafted to provide ample room for family living – from an open plan kitchen to exceptional dining space through to a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a utility room and garage.
Along with the homes, which combine traditional exteriors and modern stylish and functional interiors, the setting of Springfields is a huge attraction. Lying only 10 miles from the Peak District, five miles from Huddersfield’s town centre and with ease of access to motorway networks and public transport, the location is perfect for working, socialising, shopping and family life.
