Redrow launches sales of highly anticipated new homes from Harrogate
We’ve announced the launch this month of our new Harrogate development, Granby Meadows.
A hi-tech customer experience suite will open on March 26 with digital screens giving customers the chance to view plans and images, and take virtual tours, of the homes set to be released for sale.
A total of 95 homes will be offered including 38 (40%) affordable properties, with a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom terraced, semi-detached and detached styles.
Steve Jackson, sales director for Yorkshire, said:“Granby Meadows is another much-awaited development, creating a collection of stunning, high-quality homes in what is an extremely popular area.
“It’s close to Harrogate town centre as well as the well-known landmark of The Stray which offers hundreds of acres of beautiful green space and which will be enhanced even further with new footpath and cycling links to connect the two, so the location couldn’t be more perfect.
“Harrogate has long been hailed as one of the most sought-after places to live, thanks to its combination of amenities and a glorious mixture of box-ticking assets, and now it’s even been awarded ‘third happiest place to live’ by Rightmove.
“We have a database of 140 people keen to know more about the development and the homes we are building there and, with demand so great, we’re anticipating many of those in the first wave of releases will be reserved quickly.”
Granby Meadows is a natural extension of our Devonshire Gardens development - completed in 2018 with 126 Georgian-style townhouses and Heritage Collection detached homes in what’s already a thriving community - and it, too, will see homes from the Heritage Collection which boasts traditional Arts & Crafts style exteriors complemented by contemporary and spacious open plan interiors.
The first properties released for sale will include two, three and four-bedroom homes, priced from around £289,950 to £684,950. The first homes will be ready to move into in January 2023.
Among the first releases, The Warwick is one of our most popular three-bedroom detached styles with creative design making the most of the space. It boasts a kitchen/dining area that extends the entire width of the property at the rear, along with a handy cloakroom and separate lounge.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms, the main with en-suite, and a luxurious family bathroom.
The show homes at Granby Meadows will be opened in August, with customers able to buy off-plan before then.
Buying off-plan can offer a number of benefits, not least the chance to get in early and choose from a greater selection of homes and plots. It also provides the chance for buyers to personalise their property via the MyRedrow website which has a range of fixtures, fittings and other options, along with upgrades, which can be selected according to tastes and preferences.
Early buyers can also take advantage of pre-show home prices, and those with an existing house to sell can take advantage of our Help to Sell, which offers support in marketing a current home and contributions towards costs.
As well as creating the homes at Granby Meadows, a quarter of which will be open space, we will plant additional trees and contribute more than £500,000 toward education in the area.
