Influx of local buyers spells early success for Redrow in Leeds

Over 70 per cent of customers at our latest Leeds development in New Farnley are local buyers.

 

Homes at the development named as Whitehall Grange, which went on sale in June, is already proving to be a hit with Leeds based purchasers, with the majority moving from less than five miles away, including those moving out from Leeds city centre.

 

Located five miles outside of Leeds city centre along the A58, Whitehall Grange is the ideal spot for anyone who wants the best of both worlds; being close to the bright lights of the city but having green space and woodland on the doorstep.

 

And this hasn’t gone unnoticed as interest from potential buyers has been high.

 

“Whitehall Grange was always going to be a hit due to its location. Couple that with the range of house styles, it will suit not just commuters, but families and even some first-time buyers too,” says Steve Jackson, sales director for Yorkshire.

 

“We have already seen the popularity amongst residents who currently live in Leeds, with over 70 per cent of our current reservations already living within a five mile radius of the development.

 

“The two and three-bedroom homes are ideal starter homes and we have had a lot of interest from people that currently live in flats and apartments in the city but who now want more space and a house and garden to call their own.”

 

Homes are currently being sold off-plan and there are benefits to buying at this stage too.

 

“Securing a home at this point of development means buyers will get pick of the plots and house styles,” added Steve.

 

Located off Whitehall Road, Whitehall Grange will feature 96 private sale homes and 18 affordable homes. Homes currently start from £249,950 for a two-bed Ledbury and go up to £449,950 for a four-bed Harlech.

 

There is a sales office open on site and show homes will be opening in October. Until then, show homes can be explored at another of our developments in Leeds - The Avenue at Thorpe Park. They are open seven days a week from 10am - 5.30pm.
