Woodford community invited to share £10,000 Redrow fund

Good causes in and around Woodford, Cheshire, are being offered the chance to share a £10,000 community fund.

The £10,000 community fund has been launched to mark the continued development of Redrow’s Woodford Garden Village and, as good neighbours, we want to get right to the heart of the community and discover what makes the area a great place to live.

One of the ways we do this is by offering a pot of funding for good causes locally; it’s a great way of giving something back and celebrating the neighbourhood spirit.

Previous voluntary community funds linked to our new homes developments have delivered support to mental health projects, food banks, sports teams, schools, young carers, community transport, garden projects and care packages for the vulnerable.

Redrow-Woodford community Fund-Springwood Heath Primary School

Whether funds are required for materials to paint a community centre, supply a school with plants for a learning garden, or to help facilitate therapy sessions for people with additional needs, or something else equally as deserving, we’re keen for you to let us know.

We want to support as many worthy causes in the neighbourhood as possible, so smaller projects local to our development in Woodford will be preferred.

You can nominate yourself or your organisation or put forward a person or group that is active locally.
