Chester community invited to share £5,000 Redrow fund

Good causes in and around Chester are being offered the chance to share a £5,000 community fund.

As we continue to build homes at Kings Moat Garden Village on Wrexham Road we want to continue being good neighbours and integrate ourselves into the heart of the community and discover what makes the area a great place to live.

One of the ways we do this is by offering a pot of funding for good causes locally; it’s a great way of giving something back and celebrating the neighbourhood spirit.

Redrow Chester Community Fund Lara Tess Meg

Over the past five years we’ve gifted more than £175,000 to community projects across the North West via voluntary community funds linked to our new homes developments.

In areas around our new homes, previous beneficiaries have included mental health projects, food banks, sports teams, schools, young carers, community transport, garden projects and care packages for the vulnerable.

Whether funds are required for materials to paint a community centre, supply a school with plants for a learning garden, or to help facilitate therapy sessions for people with additional needs, or something else equally as deserving, we’re keen for you to let us know.

How to enter

Please return your completed application form via email by midnight on Friday, April 26th, 2024.

Please note that we aim to help a variety of groups and spread the funds as widely as possible, so we’d encourage applicants to take this into account when applying for funding.

Remember to include details of how you would use the funds requested. This could be to purchase equipment, hire facilities or contribute towards running costs.

If your request is part of a larger/ long running project with a higher budget, please include a breakdown of costs, timescales involved and how the rest of the funding is being achieved. We may be able to support an element of your project alongside other local causes.
