The East Midlands team welcomed Councillor Tina Combellack, Deputy Mayor of Rushcliffe, to Redrow at Nicker Hill, in Keyworth.
The Deputy Mayor was given a behind the scenes tour of the development which included an exclusive look inside the brand-new show homes, The Richmond and The Oxford Lifestyle.
Both homes are examples of our award-winning Heritage Collection, which has proven popular with those looking for a traditional yet high-spec property. These homes effortlessly combine 1930s charm, with architecture inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, and a contemporary interior. The homes benefit from open-plan living spaces, and separate areas for relaxing in the stylish lounges and spacious bedrooms, and The Oxford Lifestyle even boasts an elegant conservatory.
Located just six miles from Nottingham, this exclusive development has a strong community focus, as we’ve committed £1million to the area. The contribution includes the creation of a new bus service, as well as contributing to a local sports hall, sports pitches and a swimming pool. These funds will also be invested in improving local education and supporting local healthcare.
Councillor Tina Combellack said: “I really enjoyed the visit and was most impressed with the development. Redrow at Nicker Hill will bring much needed, high-quality homes to the area for a range of home buyers.
“I’m thrilled with the commitment from Redrow to support local amenities that will benefit the wider community as well as the new residents to Redrow at Nicker Hill. I was also very pleased to see the building properties were in-keeping with the surroundings, and there was plenty of green space – including the addition of turf and shrubs to ensure effective drainage across the new development. It was interesting to learn that Redrow is becoming a paperless company, and see the informative, interactive presentation designed for purchasers - further demonstrating their commitment to the environment
“It was a pleasure to meet Ryan and the team and see the development first-hand - I am looking forward to seeing the homes progress and the creation of a thriving new community.”
Ryan O’Sullivan, Sales Director for the East Midlands, showed Councillor Combellack around the development. Ryan said: “It was a pleasure to welcome the Deputy Mayor to our development and give her a behind the scenes look at how we build our homes. It was great to be able to share our vision for Redrow at Nicker Hill, and we’re delighted to be adding much-needed new homes to the local area. I'm looking forward to seeing local people find their forever home at Nicker Hill very soon.”
