Her first Redrow was an apartment, her second was next to her sister’s, and in the words of Goldilocks, the third was ‘just right’ – Beth Taylor had found her forever home in Derby.
When Beth visited her sister, Shannon’s new home at Redrow Midland’s King’s Park in Worcester, back in 2013, she was immediately filled with new-home envy. A low maintenance newbuild property, yet still featuring characterful charm, high ceilings and wider doorways, it was the perfect property – and in true sibling style, Beth wanted one too.
Beth said: “When I first went to visit Shannon’s home, The Kenilworth, I could see why she’d fallen in love. I couldn’t believe the quality of the home - I had huge sibling jealously and I immediately knew that I wanted one too!”
Beth began saving for a deposit and in 2017, she’d brought her first Redrow home, an apartment, at Pennine Grange in Tamworth.
Beth fell in love with her Redrow but decided she wanted to live closer to her family. In February 2020, Beth upgraded and moved into her second Redrow property on the very same development as her sister at Amington Garden Village, in Tamworth.
Just a few years later, Beth met partner, Sam, from Long Eaton, and they soon started to think about moving in together. Living 30 minutes apart, the couple were keen to meet in the middle and find a home near to both of their families.
Beth said: “I knew my dream home was a Ludlow, and I started looking at Redrow developments in the East Midlands. Foxbridge Manor, in Castle Donington, felt like home the second we arrived, and the location was perfect for us both.
“After living in two different Redrow properties, I knew I couldn’t purchase from any other housebuilder. Once Sam saw the quality of the build and viewed the homes at Foxbridge Manor, we both agreed that the Ludlow was not only my dream home but his too.”
Quite literally like a fairy-tale, the third Redrow felt ‘just right’, and Beth and Sam moved into Foxbridge Manor in December.
