We’ve sponsored Putteridge Swimming Club (PSC), enabling the Luton-based club to hold their annual awards dinner which took place over the weekend.
We donated £2,500 to cover all costs of the dinner, an event where the club is able to thank their local community and congratulate all of their young members on their achievements. This follows the disruption of Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns, preventing the club from logistically or financially organising the event over the past two years.
Hosted by the club’s Chairman Chris Long and Head Coach Lesley Batson, 46 awards were presented on the night to members aged between 8 and 16 who received the awards for their achievements during 2021.
Putteridge Swimming Club has developed from a small family club to become Bedfordshire’s highest performing swimming club. With representation in County, Regional, National and International Championships, PSC has grown to over 300 members.

The true spirit of PSC. This dinner is about saying well done and thanks to them all and this would not have been possible without the generous support of Redrow.”
