A show home in Chorley has been named a winner at this year’s UK Property Awards.
The Balmoral show home, at our Sycamore Manor development in Whittle-le-woods, has won best Residential Interior Show Home for Lancashire.
Now in its 29th year, the UK Property Awards are judged by an independent panel of over 80 industry experts and cover over 45 different architecture, interior design and development related categories.
Sycamore Manor, located off Mottram Close, features some of our most luxurious house styles from our Arts & Crafts inspired Heritage Collection, including premium specification three, four and five-bedroom detached homes.
Designed by our in-house interior design team, led by Alysha Alli, the four-bedroom detached Balmoral, is the perfect example of a spacious family home.
Its combination of classic and contemporary interior design blends muted tones with deeper, richer shades and splashes of colour. Art deco influences are combined with modern furniture styles, and accessories include mixed metallics, geometric prints, and richly textured fabrics.
“We are very proud to be named as a winner in this year’s UK Property Awards,” said Sian Pitt, sales director for our Lancashire division.
“It’s a superb achievement and a mark of quality that sets us apart from our competitors.
“The Balmoral is an elegant and inviting show home and is very popular amongst our visitors. The interiors team has done a brilliant job designing this award-winning showcase property so our customers can see the quality and high specification we offer close up.”
We have also won a further seven categories in this year’s awards, and we will find out on October 28 whether any of our winners have achieved the highest level of accolade – the coveted Five Star award – during the ceremony at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
Judging focuses on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability. The judging panel is chaired by House of Lords members Lord Caithness, Lord Best, and Lord Waverley.
The UK Property Awards are one of eight regional heats - alongside Arabia, Europe, Africa, Canada, Central & South America, the Caribbean, USA, and Asia Pacific – with the highest scorers of each of the categories going on to compete at the International Property Awards at the end of the year.
Sycamore Manor is a prestigious new development of 39 homes offering a premium way of living in a desirable semi-rural location. It’s tucked away in the scenic, close-knit village of Whittle-le-Woods, and yet close to Chorley and Preston.
It’s also near to Buckshaw train station with services to Manchester and beyond and has an outstanding array of schools and amenities nearby.
