A new year is all about a fresh start, and the show home at Bridgewater View, Mosley Common, has had its very own upgrade.
Our award-winning interiors team has completely revamped the show home, which being unveiled this weekend (Saturday, January 16th) at the new home’s development, off Mosley Common Road.
The four-bedroom detached Oxford from the home builder’s Heritage Collection is now up to date with all of our new specification choices.
Alysha Alli, who leads the interiors team, said: “The four-bedroom Oxford show home at Bridgewater View has been totally transformed to include brand new interior upgrades so customers can get a real idea of what they can achieve in a brand new Redrow home. All these specification choices are available for customers to choose online via My Redrow for their own home.
“Some of the noticeable alterations visitors will see is a kitchen layout change, this will include a brand new island that has been installed in the kitchen. This is now an option for all Oxford’s giving families more storage and worktop space in their kitchen. It also provides an additional seating area and a great social space as there are also bar stools underneath the island.”
The show home emphasises both timeless classic contemporary design, and we have also incorporated key industry trends in the interior schemes.
“The colour palette in the show home includes a calming mix of blues, khaki and muted greys to the open plan kitchen and dining room paired with statement black wenge furniture. These complement the Symphony kitchen cabinets in Cranbrook Platinum and silestone worktops in Desert Silver.
“In the lounge we’ve combined on-trend baked reds, browns and soft pinks with an accent teal shade against a backdrop of a light fawn sofa and occasional chair and gorgeous woven metallic feature wallpaper with an interlaced gold thread. Luxurious touches have been added through the marble and brass coffee and lamp tables, a painted charcoal TV unit and an eight light ceiling brass pendant.
“Sumptuous touches in the master bedroom include a subtle metallic and taupe textured wallpaper, an oversized emerald green velvet headboard, dull gold accessories and an oversized black and gold lantern ceiling pendant,” adds Alysha.
The interiors team have transformed one of the four bedrooms into a mixed-use study to show how adaptable the Oxford can be.
“With more people now working from home, customers are looking for homes with space they can use as a study. In this room we have included a daybed so the room can still be used by guests if needed but its primary purpose would be a study,” says Alysha.
