St Anne’s Catholic Primary School will be kicking off football games in style after scoring a brand new kit from Redrow.
The school, located on Slater Lane in Leyland, received £250 from us so they could purchase 15 football kits to replace worn out kits they previously used.
Cheryl Concepcion, Business Support Officer at St Anne’s, said: “The new kits will allow our team to really look the part at matches. The team is made up of both boys and girls aged between nine to 11 years old and they play against up to 11 other local schools in tournaments throughout the school year.
“We encourage our children to lead healthy lifestyles and keep active and when the children play against other teams, they are able to build on their confidence and ability to learn new teambuilding skills.”
We support communities close to where they build through community funds such as the one that has supported St Anne’s Catholic Primary School. Twelve groups and good causes from across Leyland have shared £5000 that will support them in helping others.
