Geoff and Gaynor Field lived in Kenilworth for 30 years, before moving to the Herefordshire countryside for a change of scenery. After eight years, the couple decided to relocate back to their Warwickshire roots to be closer to family, moving to Poets Grange, on Station Road, along with their dog, a three-year-old cockerpoo, named Abby.
Geoff said: “Moving back to Warwickshire was an easy choice for us – we lived here for years and know the area well. We wanted to be somewhere close to our grandson, while living in a place which still had a countryside feel to it.
“We loved the fact that the whole development is created around the existing natural environment and incorporates local water features to help attract the wildlife.”
The couple moved into a four-bedroom Shaftesbury, opting for a new-build to reduce worries over maintenance issues and give the pair the opportunity to put their own stamp on the place, creating a new home together.
Geoff continued: “It was key to us that we have space for our family to stay when they come and visit – we have four children and five grandchildren, so family time is super important to us.
“We loved the spaciousness The Shaftesbury offered, especially with the higher ceilings, taller skirting boards and even the wider roads outside – they all make the house feel so much roomier.
“We love to travel, so it was incredibly important to us that we had somewhere we would always look forward to returning back to and I feel like we’ve definitely found that. We’re excited to continuing to make the house our home with our own designs and memories!”
