First residents move into new homes in Stratford-upon-Avon

2nd December 2021
Redrow - News - Midlands - Poets Grange - Case Study - David and Adele

Our new housing development in Stratford-upon-Avon has welcomed its first residents.

The multimillion-pound development will see a total of 100 three and four-bedroom homes built at Poets Grange, on Station Road.

Adele and David are some of the first official residents to move into the development, which is part of the wider Meon Vale scheme.

The couple lived in Australia for four years, and following a visit back to the UK and a trip to a nearby development they fell in love with Redrow homes. After deciding to move back to the Midlands in 2020, the search for their perfect home began – and they knew exactly where to look.

Adele and David were keen to find a home which would suit their rescue dog, Donald and accommodate regular visits from their family, including two grandchildren - and the sort after three-bedroom Oxford Lifestyle proved to be the perfect match.

Adele said: “When we moved back to the UK, we knew we wanted to buy a Redrow home. It was the quality of the homes and high ceilings that we loved the most.

“Unfortunately, the pandemic hit as soon as we moved back to the UK, and we had to move back into our old house, which we’d rented out while we were living abroad, but it wasn’t long until we moved into our dream home.

“The home is perfect for our rescue dog who we brought back from Australia with us and is also great when our children and grandchildren come to stay.

“It’s everyone’s dream to own a home like this one.”

Elaine Cartwright, Sales Director for the Midlands added: “We are thrilled to welcome our first residents at Poets Grange, and we look forward to seeing the development grow into a thriving community.

“Poets Grange is proving to be very popular as it continues to pique the interest of buyers searching for a traditional home with a high-spec interior in a well-connected, popular region.

“We'd like to welcome anyone interested in luxury living in a property in a semi-rural area close to Stratford-upon-Avon to get in touch to learn more about what life could be like at Poets Grange.

“A very warm welcome to Adele and David – we hope you will be very happy in your fantastic new home!”

The community is already beginning to thrive, with families and couples moving into a further 100 homes at the popular development.

Poets Grange, located five miles south of the historic Stratford-upon-Avon, is part of the larger Meon Vale development, which will feature a leisure hub, sports pitches and plenty of public open space once complete. Add in the great transport links to Warwick, Worcester, and Birmingham, combined with all the cultural heritage and charm of Shakespeare's birthplace, and you have the ideal location to settle down and raise a family.
