Our Midlands division, which is currently building new homes at The Orchards, on Pulley Lane, has presented West Mercia Search and Rescue with the donation as part of its community fund.
We’re committed to creating and supporting thriving communities, with the community fund, created to provide much needed grants to good causes. The funds will be used to buy brand new lifejackets to continue to support the rescue group’s lifesaving missions, including finding missing people in floods and responding to crises alongside emergency services.
David Henretty, from West Mercia Search and Rescue said: “We would like to thank Redrow for their generous donation. We are long overdue a new set of lifejackets for our volunteers, so the donation will go a long way in ensuring they’re able to continue to support the community in the best possible conditions.
“We couldn’t do our essential work without the kind donations of local businesses and individuals, such as Redrow Midlands, and this makes such a difference to the lives of those in need.”
Elaine Cartwright, Sales Director for the Midlands, added: “We are delighted to be supporting West Mercia Search and Rescue.
“In times of crisis, West Mercia Search and Rescue are there for people across the Midlands. The volunteers and their quiet heroics are nothing short of extraordinary, and their commitment to keeping everyone in the community safe deserves to be recognised.
“We hope that by supporting such an important community service, we can help make things easier for the West Mercia Search and Rescue. We look forward to continuing to build upon our relationship.”
The donation forms part of our Community Fund, which will see the Midlands division donate a total of £5,000 to local organisations throughout 2021 and 2022.
We’re currently building homes across the Midlands including two, three and four-bedroom homes at The Orchards, Droitwich, but buyers looking to purchase a new home at the popular development will have to be quick – as just one home remain.
We are also building at the nearby, Poets Grange, located five miles south of the historic Stratford-upon-Avon, is part of the larger Meon Vale development, which will feature a leisure hub, sports pitches and plenty of public open space once complete. Add in the great transport links to Warwick, Worcester, and Birmingham, combined with all the cultural heritage and charm of Shakespeare's birthplace, and you have the ideal location to settle down and raise a family.
