Redrow is now in the running for four major industry titles, several marketing awards and a key industry award for customer satisfaction.
Redrow has been shortlisted for Housebuilder of the Year at the 2020 Building Awards, with the winner due to be announced on November 3.
It means we are now in the running for four of the industry’s top titles, the others being:
• Construction News Awards: Best Residential Developer
• Estates Gazette Awards: UK Company of the Year
• The Props: Residential Developer of the Year
All are due to be decided between now and the end of November.
In addition we are a finalist in no fewer than three categories at the national Construction Marketing Awards and shortlisted for two Housebuilder Awards.
It also comes just one month after we won silver in the Global Good Company of the Year category of the 2020 Global Good Awards.
Matt Grayson, our group customer & marketing director, said: “2020 has been a challenging year for all businesses, ourselves included, so it’s good to have our performance recognised in this way. The fact that we are finalists in so many major industry awards shows a level of consistency and independent verification that is particularly reassuring.
“The housebuilder and residential developer shortlistings are very much based around our ongoing commitment to creating thriving communities, building responsibly and valuing people; recognising the massive investment we make in the communities where we build, our efforts to inspire the next generation to build, delivery of independently verified 5-star customer service and for adhering to eight important placemaking principles that are designed to create ‘a better way to live’.
“Whilst winning awards like these is very motivating for our teams who strive to deliver results, they also reassure homeowners of our commitment to providing consistently high standards in the homes we build, the environments we create and the customer service we deliver.”
We are also a finalist in two categories of the Housebuilder Awards due to be announced on December 3:
• Best Customer Satisfaction Initiative: highlighting its industry-leading online reservation tool, which allows customers to legally complete the reservation of their new home in their own time and from wherever they choose.
• Best Marketing Initiative: for a series of placemaking videos demonstrating to consumers exactly how Redrow creates ‘A better way to live’.
And at the Construction Marketing Awards, revealed on November 26, we will compete for:
• Best Digital Campaign: recognising its ‘Why do up if you can buy new?’ multi-media marketing campaign aimed at persuading people to skip the pain of renovation and buy brand-new instead.
• Best Social Media Campaign: for its link up with the Not Going to Uni organisation to deliver a series of memes to young people, which saw applications for the company’s innovative housebuilding degree course shoot up both in quantity and quality.
• Best Thought Leadership Campaign: Highlighting Redrow’s drive to build and deliver thriving communities.
