Our charitable trust, The Redrow Foundation, has become a ‘Matcher’ and given £14,685 to the match-funding pot of Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith’s biggest annual fundraising appeal.
Final Moments Matter is a marathon fundraising event that will run for 36hrs across November 19 and 20, 2023. Done via social media and WhatsApp, a network of “champions” will promote the work of the hospices to as many potential donors as possible. Every penny raised from donors is then match-funded by the matchers.
The charity aims to raise over £500,000, the cost of providing one full year’s end of life care at both their Oswestry and Conwy hospices.
Redrow Group company secretary and one of the foundation’s trustees, Graham Cope said: “We’re so proud to support Hope House’s annual fundraiser and become a matcher so they can raise vital funds to continue to support local families when they truly need it the most. Hope House is our Group Services Charity of the Year and our teams at head office have already been busy raising funds via events such as pick and mix stalls, Mario Kart contests, sunflower growing competitions, and a tuck shop, and will continue to do so for the rest of the year.”
