Our South Midlands division, which is currently building at Leestone Park on Heath Road, has continued its support for a grassroots football team by donating £960.00 towards the clubs training facilities.
Leighton Town Youth FC supports children as young as five in the local area to be active and enjoy a team building sport in a community environment, offering locals outstanding footballing opportunities.
The sponsorship allows the club to have a professional space to train for both their home and away games.
Suzanne Irons, Sales Director for South Midlands, said: “Grassroots football is an invaluable part of community life, and so we are proud to continue our support for Leighton Town Youth Football Club Under 18s as part of our commitment to creating thriving communities.
“Playing sport is a great way to support physical and mental wellbeing and to bring people together through a love for the game. Grassroots football is more than just a hobby, it’s a space where children can learn a new sport while developing important life skills, from teambuilding to communicating effectively, that will put them in good stead throughout their lives.
