Redrow is supporting a local youth initiative.
Redrow South Midlands, currently based at Bowden Chase, in Market Harborough, and Kingsland Park, in Northampton, has presented the CUBE Youth Centre with a £600 donation.
Run by the Harborough Youth and Community Trust, the CUBE Youth Centre, which opened in May 2014, offers local youngsters a safe place to meet and learn new skills through paid employment in partnership with local businesses, as well as counselling services and mentoring. The funds have helped the group furnish their new office space and meeting room.
Charlotte Cooper, Youth Work Manager at The CUBE, said: “We’re delighted to have received funding from Redrow to help us furnish a new meeting room. This will provide a safe haven for young people and a place for local groups to meet without interruption, allowing us to continue bringing our vision to help young people in Market Harborough thrive to life.
“On behalf of everyone at Harborough Youth and Community Trust, I would like to say a big thank you to Redrow for helping us to make a difference.”
Suzanne Irons, sales director for our South Midlands division, said: “As part of our commitment to create thriving communities, we were pleased to be able to support the Harborough Youth and Community Trust in their mission, which is important now more than ever.
“The CUBE Youth Centre is an essential community hub for young people in Market Harborough and beyond, offering a variety of services to those who need it. We’re proud to play a part in some of these youngsters’ future by contributing to the creation of a much-needed safe space for them to meet.”
Though Bowden Chase, in Market Harborough, is now sold out, those looking for homes featuring a traditional charm with modern interiors can find their dream home at Kingsland Park, in Northampton. Located in the affluent area of Spinney Hill, and just a short drive away from Northampton and the M1, the new development is ideal for first-time buyers and growing families alike.
