Our Berkeley Dene development, which will provide 107 three and four-bedroom homes, has confirmed that it is contributing more than £ 1.7 million to the region.
The investment includes contributions of £67,000 to facilitate home-to-school transport, £20,000 to fund local libraries and a two-instalment investment, amounting to £318,000, to support local secondary schools.
Keen to make sure local people’s commutes run smoothly, we will also be contributing £200,000 to public transport improvements and more than £100,000 to the A38 Alkington Lane Junction, ensuring that both new and existing residents are able to travel with ease.
Sian Smith, Sales Director at Redrow South West, said: “We are thrilled to be supporting the community of Berkeley, as well as bringing much-needed homes to the town at our new development. We are committed to creating thriving communities that benefit the local area and bring new residents to the town.
“With investments in local education, major road improvements, and public transport links, we hope to improve the lives of both new and existing residents. We are pleased to be expanding our portfolio in the area, creating new, high-quality homes in Berkeley while providing this investment to the wider Gloucestershire region.
“We’d encourage anyone looking to buy a new home to register their interest at Berkeley Dene as soon as possible, as we will be launching our new show home in just a month’s time.”
